Binaschi Anna

She is a biologiest and from 2001 to 2015 worked in our laboratories first as PhD student and then as a post-doc with a research contract. In this period she focused on neurobiology of epilepsy and the evaluation of the trafficking of neurotrophic factor in combination with those of neuropeptides, involved in epilepsy, in normal and pathological conditions. In this period she was author of 14 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 2 chapter in scientific book.

Labasque Marilyne

She worked in our laboratories as a Marie Curie Fellow for 24 months, from 2013 to 2015.She was recruited as a 4-10 year experience researcher for bringing knowledge on application of siRNAs in the brain in vivo. Her expertise in molecular and cellular biology, and in imaging has been useful for better understanding the contrasted functions of the neurotrophin BDNF during the progression of epilepsy (i.e., epileptogenesis). She spent time on experimental setup of the culture of organotypic hippocampal slices and their subsequent processing for immunofluorescence, RNA expression analysis and protein quantification in the culture medium and the whole slice.

Rodi Donata

She is a medicinal chemist, with specialization in Toxicology and from 1999 to 2012 worked in our laboratories first as e Telethon research fellowship, than doctoral candidate and finally as a post-doc with a research contract. In this period her project was on Bradykinin involvement in epilepsy. She was author of 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 1 chapter in scientific book.

Bregola Gianni:

From 1990 to 2002 he studied the implication of neuropeptides and neurotrophic factors in experimental models of epilepsy.
In this period he was author of 29 papers in peer-riviewed journals.

Cazzin Chiara:

She is a doctoral candidate in “Biotechnologies applied at the Biomedical Science” from January 2005 to present in the “Medicin and Public Health Depatment” at the Verona University, Italy, with a GlaxoSmithKline fellowship.
In our laboratories, starting April 2006 to April 2007, her project was to evaluate the in vivo and in vitro knocking down of P2X receptors by means of shRNA-containing viral vectors.

Paradiso Beatrice:

She is a medical doctor and from 2001 to 2009 worked in our laboratories, first as undergraduate student, after as intern, doctoral candidate and finally as a post-doc with a research contract. In this period her project was the evaluation of the effects of defective herpes simplex vectors expressing neurotrophic factors on neuronal stem cells in vitro and on neurogenesis in vivo, in animal models of epilepsy.
In this period she was author of 8 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Mazzuferi Manuela

She is a biologiest and from 1999 to 2009 worked in our laboratories first as undergraduate student, after as intern, doctoral candidate and finally as a post-doc with a research contract. In this period her project was the evaluation of the trafficking of neurotrophic factor in combination with those of neuropeptides, involved in epilepsy, in normal and pathological conditions. In this period she was author of 10 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 1 chapter in scientific book.

Buzzi Andrea

He is a medicinal chemist and from 1999 to 2009 worked in our laboratories first as undergraduate student, after as intern, doctoral candidate and finally as a post-doc with a research contract. In this period his project was “Unverricht-Lundborg disease, hyperexcitability analysis” and “Understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms in the frigile X syndrome: from translational impairment to spine dysmorphogenesis”. In this period he was author of 5 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 1 chapter in scientific book.

Su Tao

He is graduate in neuropharmacology and he has performed his doctorate in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology in our laboratories. In this period his project was “Local supplementation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor for the treatment of neuronal damage”.He is author of 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Bovolenta Roberta

She is a medicinal chemist and from 2006 to 2011 she worked in our laboratories first as undergraduate student, after as intern and as doctoral candidate. During this period, her project was focused on neuroinflammation and she was author of 3 papers in peer-reviewd journals.
